Today Starschreck turns one year old. It’s been a busy year with finishing school, two internships, and working on a solo sound.

The Free Sound Project & An Idea For A Project. I think this made #1 for longest blog post title. FSP is a great resource for sound designers. I haven’t had that much use for it until recently needed some new impulse responses in a pinch.
Gimme Me Some Sample. A riff on sampling and an idea about a person who hears a song based off a sample but isn’t aware that it is a sample, i.e. the young hip hop generation.
The Loudness War. About how music is getting louder, advertising is rumored to be partly responsible for this. Features a YouTube video that illustrates the point.
