Making Websites Do What They Are Supposed To Do

A professional acquaintance made a comment a while back. He checked out Starschreck / Dan Schreck and later told me that he had trouble listening to my music. At the time I disregarded the comment, I filed it under the category of Not My Problem.

I realized that this is My Problem. One of the most important functions of this website is that people can access my work. If someone does put in the time to access the website and cannot listen to my music then there is a fundamental problem with the website. The website doesn’t work right.

The problem of making music easier to listen to online is a bit strange. In my case, I do not release my own music. I may have offered a few tracks here and there to Starschreck subscribers, but everything else has been released through test tube. My “music page” has almost no music on it. It directs people to test tube. Then each song can be individually clicked…

It seems like a lot of clicks doesn’t it?
